How much does it cost to be a vendor?
  • 10×10 Space Fees are $100.00.
  • 10×20 Space Fees are $175.00

Booth Requirements:
• NO ALCOHOL MAY BE SOLD!
• YOU MUST BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS DURING THE “FESTIVAL OPEN” TIMES!
• YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN POWER/FUEL! BRING YOUR OWN GENERATOR/TANKS AND
ENOUGH FUEL FOR THE FULL EVENT!
• No other vehicles are allowed to be parked with your food truck/booth or behind the vending area.
Vendors offering Tater Tots/Dishes will have priority consideration and placement. ALL vehicles
(unless a food truck) will need be parked off-site or in designated parking during the festival to allow
for fire lanes.

Setup Time Slots are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY:
• We will contact you at the email used to register by 9/13 from [email protected] to
notify you of your load in time. If you miss your load in time you will be moved to the back of the list.
• SET UP TIME BY APPOINTMENT: Friday September 19 – 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Festival Vendors Open Friday September 19 – 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• Festival Vendors Open Saturday September 20 – 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• TEAR DOWN TIME: Saturday September 20 – 10:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Exhibitor/Vendor Agreement:
By Paying Vendor Fees the Vendor Agrees to all the above requirements listed above, including the
following terms and conditions:
1. Vendor registration fees are non-refundable. Space fees are refundable if notice is given by 8/30.
2. Vendors are required to attend both days during all “OPEN” hours of the festival stated above.
3. Vendor recognizes that they WILL NOT be given an exclusive right to sell, take orders or demonstrate
any service or product (someone else may sell the same product/merchandise).
4. Vendor agrees to comply with rules and regulations of the City, County, State, and Local officials.
5. Vendor agrees to obtain any-and-all necessary permits necessary for their business. IF food is served,
sold, or given away, permits may be required. If a permit is required, a copy of the permit must be
present at the event. The health department will inspect before/during the event. There is usually a
health inspection prior to opening. Please contact the following authorities as necessary:
i. Oregon Department of Agriculture, 503-986-4550, temporary food vendor;
ii. Malheur County Health, 541-473-5183, food handlers permit, and
iii. City of Ontario 541-881-3201, sidewalk food vendor.
6. Vendor shall cause no damage to the premises and leave the festival grounds in the same condition
they were at the time of arrival.
7. Vendor will forfeit all application fee, vendor fee, and space rights if Vendor is not set up and running
by 1:30pm Friday. No partial refunds will be given for any reason.
8. No power, water, sewer, or other utility connections will be. Vendor must supply all necessary
resources needed to operate and as indicated by any permits.
9. It is further understood and agreed that Vendor, and its event staff, agrees to hold the City of Ontario,
Malheur County, Revitalize Ontario, its officers, and agents (the “Parties”) harmless of all claims or
damages, suits at law, and criminal and civil complaints which may be instituted as a result of Vendor’s
activities. The Parties will not be responsible for the safety of the Vendor’s property against theft, fire,
robbery, accident, or any other destructive cause, or from injury that may arise to the public in the
Vendor space, or due to the Vendors’ or its representatives’ activities.

When can I sign up?

You can sign up anytime after the last festival starting in November up until August prior to the festival. 

No on-site registrations are allowed. Your vendor application must be completed, paid for, and accepted before September 1st!

Who is considered a Food Vendor?

If you plan on preparing food on-site from a booth, trailer, or food truck you need to sign up as Tater Tot Festival Food Vendor.

Pre-packged and pre-made snacks, goodies, and other edible items that do not require prepration on-site are likely considerd Exibitor Vendors. All vendors serving food may be required to obtain the proper food  handling and serving permits. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have questions!

What are the festival operation hours?

Vendors Must Be Open:

  • Friday September 19 – 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday September 20 – 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

SET UP TIME IS BY APPOINTMENT: Friday September 19 – 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
TEAR DOWN TIME: Saturday September 20– 10:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Can I serve alcohol?

No! While alcohol will be allowed at the festival, only Revitalize Ontario! is allowed to serve alcohol.

Is there power or utilities at the event?

No power, water, sewer, or other utility connections will be provided. Vendor must supply all necessary resources needed to operate and as indicated by any permits.

If you need power for your space you must provide your own power.  Plan ahead and bring enough fuel for the full day/event!

If you are in the exhibitor area any generators must be whisper quiet generator 65 dB or less.

Can I park my vehicle at my space?

Unless you have a food truck, no other vehicles are allowed to be parked with or behind your food truck or exhibitor booth. All vehicles will need to be parked outside the festival grounds.

Can I Cancel/Get a refund?

Vendor registration fees are non-refundable unless a cancelation notice is given by 8/30. Once canceled you will not be able to re-register. To cancel please email [email protected].

Can I setup for only one day of the festival?

No. Vendors are required to attend both days during and be open during the operational hours of the festival.

Will there be other vendors that sell the same items as me?

While we try to limit duplication, it is possible. Vendors will not be given an exclusive right to sell, take orders or demonstrate any service or product (someone else may sell the same product/merchandise).

Do I need a vending license for the festival?

Potentially! Vendors must comply with rules and regulations of City, County, State, and Local officials. Currently Ontario, Oregon does not require exhibitor vendors to obtain any special permits.

IF food is served, sold, or given away, permits may be required. If a permit is required, a copy of the permit must be
present at the event. The Malheur County Health Department will inspect before/during the event. There is usually a
health inspection prior to opening and they have final say if you can operate.
