Godfrey Paul

Godfrey Paul’s music is described as “Real. Homegrown. Honest. Country Rockin’ Blues.” He and his band have performed at many local venues and music festivals including the Vale Rodeo in Vale, Oregon, Big Mic’s in Kuna, McCleary’s in Caldwell, and Cowboy’s, here in Ontario.

CHAZ!
4:45-5:45pm
CHAZ! is a ’60’s and ’70’s rock and roll band, originally formed by John Griffith, who put together several Ontario mucicians. They became Charley Browne’s Allstars. When John relocated to Seattle and they gained a new member, they then became the Chaz Browne Band. Then, four years ago, they went through a final transition as a four member band with original members Joe Recia and Doug Davis along with Roger Witt on vocals and guitar and Frank Beale on drums. This last transition turned them into CHAZ!
CHAZ! performs at Boise’s Riverside’s Sapphire room the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, every year. In addition, they perform at many company and private parties and class reunions. CHAZ! has also performed as backup musicians for the Big Bopper impersonator, Linwood Sasser and Richie Valens impersonator, Sting Ray Anthony.

Self Smartid

Self Smartid describe themselves as “5 dudes playing Reggae-Infused Ska Punk Music”. They hail from Nyssa, Oregon and say that they love music, particularly how it brings people together.
In addition to the Tater Tots™ Festival, Self Smartid will be performing at the inaugural Reggae Rock & Brew, to be held at the Boise Hawks Memorial Stadium in October. They also regularly play at a number of local venues including Mackey’s Public House.

Ashley Rose Band
7:45-9:15pm.
The Ashley Rose Band is headed by Ashley Rose. Ashley is self-taught musician who has an eclectic, honest approach to song-writing. She has performed with a number of notable bands including Jefferson Starship, The Steve Miller Band and Smashmouth among others.
Ashley Rose’s music blends jazz, soul, and American folk music. She performs full-time in the Boise area and has performed at the Idaho Shakespeare Fest, The Sandbar and Linelight Hotel in Ketchum as well as at many local events and block parties.

Daveon “Koby Hustle” Reynolds

Daveon “Koby Hustle” Reynolds is a Christian rapper whose music represents the values and principles of a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. His life’s goal with his music is to inspire his listeners and to help them connect with the divine spirit that guides us all.
Through his music, Koby Hustle wishes to create uplifting and meaningful content that connects with his fans on a deeper level. His albums include Doin Me and Fit for a Queen. His albums can be downloaded from his website.

2 Cents

2 Cents is an Eastern Oregon band that describes themselves as “a 4 piece Rock and Jazz Band to bring you the good vibes”. They performed in the Live After Five concert series at Four Rivers Cultural Center and Museum as well as other venues including Mackey’s Public House and Bob’s Steak n’ Spirits.

Sutton & Beek
2:15-3:00pm.
Charlie Sutton was raised in the Pacific Northwest and has been gracing the music scene for over 25 years. Since moving back to his home state of Idaho, he has released a number of EPs and full length albums as both a soloist and as a member of his groups Curtis/Sutton & the Scavengers and Charlie and the Changlings. Those releases include Primative Songs for Modern Times, Whisky Rain, and Phantom Drifter. He has also appeared at many local events and venues as a solo artist and with Jason Beek.
Jason Beek is the drummer for Charlie and the Changlings and makes up the other half of Sutton & Beek. He has also worked at several radio stations including WMBR in Cambridge, Massachusetts and KRBX, Radio Boise.

Tejano Outlaw

Tejano Outlaw is Idaho’s premier Tejano band that plays Ranchera and Cumbia rhythms. They also play Huapango, Tex-Mex Country, and a little bit of rock ‘n roll for good measure.

Sean Hatton
5:00-6:00pm
Sean Hatton and his band have been called “one of Idaho’s Best” by the Idaho Statesman. Hatton, with his bands, has performed on stage with Trace Adkins, Maroon 5, Leon Russel, Michael Martin Murphy and other notable musical talent. He performs his Americana music, which blends rock, pop, and roots, at popular venues in Boise and throughout the Northwest.

Steve Fulton
6:30-7:45pm
Steve Fulton in a Boise-based American singer and song writer who is immersed in a number of different music genres including folk, rock, and Americana with a little bit of reggae and funk thrown in.
Regardless of what type of music Steve is indulging in, however, one thing is always front and center in his music: his accoustic guitar. Steve has released twelve full-length albums during his career and has won many local awards including being nominated twice for Best Musician and receiving a fellowship grant from the Idaho Commission on the Arts.
Steve Fulton has written approximately 200 pieces of music during his career and has recently signed with Emanant Music Group of Atlanta, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee.

Hillfolk Noir

Boise Weekly has called Hillfolk Noir “The Best Band in Boise”, and they have played at Treefort and multiple venues.
Hillfolk Noir has been kicking the Boise music scene for over 15 years. They call their musical style “Junkerdash”, which has been described as many things: “traditionally inspired mountain-hillbilly music”, “bluegrass’s trouble-making cousin” and “a concoction of electrified rockin’ soulful mayhem” just to name a few. Their sound includes double bass, acoustic guitar, and an electrified “anything you can find at the hardware store” vibe.
